Every moment in life is a miracle we should enjoy! My name is DeAna Duncan and I am a Lahaina based art teacher, photographer and painter. Though originally from Nashville, TN, my love for the ocean and the unique flora and fauna of the Hawaiian Islands brought me to Maui. My favorite subjects to photograph are the spectacular skies above and the wonder and grace of what is found below the ocean’s surface. In my paintings, my passion is for the ever-present blooms, colors and beauty that surround us in Hawaii.

My style is a combination of realistic imagery created through layering of textures and marks. My paintings and digital art are all inspired from photos that I’ve taken.
